Do I have to re-key my information into Magaya Cargo
System?
No! All the information entered into the Magaya Cargo System flows throughout
the entire system. In addition if you are receiving documentation from another Agent
participating in the Magaya Network, you do not need to re-key any of the information
provided. There is no other system like ours!

What is the Magaya Network?
The Magaya Network provides the infrastructure for business-to-business communications
between logistics companies. Subscription to the Magaya Network allows cargo companies
using Magaya Cargo System (and other Magaya software) to transfer import/export
documentation and shipment information from system to system. For example – a Freight
Forwarder in New York prepares a consolidation and then sends the entire consolidation
to the Agent at destination who also has Magaya Cargo System. The Agent at destination
receives the information and then can easily deconsolidate the cargo. Once the Cargo
has been delivered or released the originating Forwarder’s system will automatically
be updated and the cargo status will be changed to “Delivered”. The Magaya Network
is automatically installed and configured when you install any Magaya product.

What are the system requirements to be part of the Magaya Network?
To be part of the Magaya Network, the only thing you need is an Internet connection.
A public IP address can help improve the performance, but is not a requirement.
Almost all ISPs give a public IP address with Internet service. It is almost certain
that you have one at this moment.

How do I register on the Magaya Network?
To register and receive your Magaya Network ID immediately, download one of the
Magaya products and follow the installation wizard. The Magaya Network is automatically
installed and configured when you install any Magaya product.

Does the Magaya Network allow customers to see
the cargo status online?
Absolutely! Using our exclusive Magaya LiveTrack
cargo tracking software your customers or agents can view the status of
their cargo in real time. They can also view documents in actual format such as
Air Waybills, Bills of Lading, Pickup Orders, Invoices, and more. In addition, our
warehouse management software allows customers to view images of the cargo, view
scanned documents such as packing lists, and chat with you right through your very
own website.

What is Magaya LiveTrack?
The Magaya LiveTrack application provides real-time status of inventory, shipments,
and more. The status can be viewed by your customers as you enter it. Updates are
visible to Magaya LiveTrack the instant events happen and an update is made in your
system. In Magaya LiveTrack, your customers can book shipments online, post a sales
order, see Air Waybills and other documents, chat via instant messaging, and more.

What is Magaya OnTheGo?
The Magaya OnTheGo application allows you to access your company database from any
Internet connection (at home or on the road) and work remotely as if you were sitting
in your office. You can authorize your employees or agents to connect remotely and
set permission levels for each person. This product is easy to use and secure. Magaya
Corporation recommends that you have a dedicated high-speed Internet connection
to use this service.

Does Magaya Cargo System have an interface with AES of US Customs?
Yes, with Magaya Cargo System
you can send the EEI (SED) directly to U.S. Customs. Magaya Cargo System runs a
validation procedure before it sends the EEI to U.S. Customs so that the information
you are sending is correct.

What is Magaya AES?
The Magaya Automated Export System (AES) plug in enables you to comply with US Customs
filing requirements by sending your export shipment documentation electronically
to US Customs from within Magaya software to the AES. Magaya AES reduces the amount
of time when filing the Shipper’s Export Declaration (SED) (now called the EEI)
since you do not need to retype any data. All the information from your shipment
will be automatically filled into the AES form, including Schedule B export codes,
Schedule K and D codes, IATA, SCAC and license type codes. A validation procedure
runs automatically to find errors before sending the EEI to Customs.

What is Magaya AMS?
The Magaya Automated Manifest System (AMS) plug-in is integrated with Magaya software
to enable you to comply with the US Customs regulations for all cargo arriving in
the US. Magaya AMS reduces the amount of time required to submit the cargo declaration
to Customs because you do not need to retype any information you already have in
you company database. When you are ready to send your declaration, the Magaya AMS
software runs a validation procedure and shows any errors before it sends the information
to Customs.
Since the Magaya AMS is integrated with Magaya software, you do not need to buy
expensive hardware, pay the services of a port authority, or pay a service center
to transmit your data. Magaya Corporation has the communication infrastructure necessary
for a stable, secure and bi-directional communication with US Customs.

What are the system requirements to install Magaya Software?
All Magaya software requires a PC with a minimum of 30 MB of disk space and 64 MB
RAM memory (1 GB recommended for server installations). Magaya software works on
any Windows operating system (windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows
Server 2008 64-bit and Windows 7 operating systems), (Windows Server 2000, 2003,
or 2008 recommended for server installations). To access your Magaya Server through
your local network, you need TCP/IP to be installed.

How can I migrate from my current system to Magaya Cargo System?
Magaya Cargo System gives you the ability to import your client database as well
as your accounting information in a standard format so you can start working with
Magaya Cargo System without having to interrupt your operations. The Import function
is available to bring in your lists of customers, vendors, agents, etc. You can
import information in a CSV or XML format.
