Magaya Cargo System is intended for
International Freight Forwarders, N.V.O.C.C.’s,

What is
Magaya LiveTrack?
Magaya LiveTrack is an international cargo-tracking
software used over the Internet by exporters, importers, ocean carriers,
air carriers, and freight forwarders. Magaya LiveTrack
keeps the shippers and/or consignees informed of where the cargo is
at all times.

What is Magaya Network?
Subscription to the Magaya Network allows cargo companies using Magaya Cargo System to
transfer import/export documentation and
shipment information from system to system. For
example - a Freight Forwarder in New York prepares a consolidation and then sends
the entire consolidation to the Agent at destination who also has Magaya Cargo System. The Agent at
destination receives the information and then can
easily deconsolidate the cargo. Once the Cargo
has been delivered or released the Originating
Forwarder's system will automatically be updated
and the cargo status will be changed to
"Delivered".

What is Magaya OnTheGo?
Magaya OnTheGo works exactly like Magaya
Cargo System, but it allows
you to access your company database from any
internet connection (at home or anywhere else)
and work remotely as if you were sitting at your
office. You can authorize any of your employees
or agents to connect remotely and you also have
the ability to restrict the things they can do.
This product is easy to use and secure.
Magaya Corporation recommends that you have a
dedicated high speed internet connection to use this
service.

What
is Magaya AES?
Magaya Automated Export System (AES)
software reduces the amount of time when
filing the Shipper's Export Declaration (SED)
since you do not need to retype any information
you already have in your company database. When
you are ready to file the SED, the Magaya AES
software runs a very detailed validation procedure and shows you the fields
that did not pass the validation allowing you to fix the errors before sending
the information to the AES.
Magaya AES software also includes
all the schedule B, K, D export, IATA, SCAC and
license type codes with search engines to find
the correct codes which are required by the U.S.
Customs.

What
is Magaya AMS?
Magaya Automated Manifest System (AMS)
software is a fully integrated solution
that Magaya Corporation has developed for its
customers in order for them to comply with the
24-hour manifest regulation implemented by US
Customs. Magaya AMS reduces the amount of time
submitting the cargo declaration to the AMS at
US Customs since you do not need to retype any
information you already have in you company
database. Once you are ready to send your
declaration, the Magaya AMS software
runs a very detailed validation procedure and
shows you the fields that did not pass the
validation allowing you to fix the errors before
sending the information to the AMS system at
Customs.
Magaya AMS is cost effective also because
you will not need to buy expensive hardware or pay for services at a port authority or
service center in order to transmit your data.
Magaya Corporation has the communication
infrastructure necessary for a stable, secure
and bi-directional communication with the US
Customs.
Magaya AMS allows you to see the history of all
your transmissions to customs, as well as all the notifications you have received
for every shipment you have declared. This system permits you to send and
receive transactions in a way that you will be amazed at its functionality.

What
are the system requirements to install a Magaya Product?
All Magaya Products require a PC with at
least 50MB of disk space and 128 MB (1GB
recommended for server installations). It works
under any windows operating system (windows95,
98, NT, ME, 2000, XP or Vista), (Windows Server
2000 and 2003 recommended for server
installations). To access your Magaya Server
through your local network you need TCP/IP to be
installed.

Which are the system requirements to be part of the Magaya Network? To be part of the Magaya Network the only thing you need is an Internet connection. A public IP address can help you improve the performance but is
not a requirement. Almost all ISPs give a public IP address with the Internet service. It is almost certain that you have one at this moment.

How do I
register on the Magaya Network?
To easily register and receive your Magaya Network ID immediately, you need to download one of the Magaya Products and follow the installation wizard.

I have my Magaya Network I.D., now what do I do with it?
Once you have received your I.D. you will want to make sure you have already
installed the Magaya Cargo System. If you have not installed Magaya Cargo System
then please do so and continue with this next step.
Go to the Magaya Cargo System folder that can be
found from the Start Menu and select Magaya
Communication Server. When prompted to enter
your user I.D., enter the Magaya Network I.D.
assigned to you from the Magaya Website and the
password you have selected. Once the
communication server has connected, you have
successfully connected to the Magaya Network and
can start to benefit from all the exciting
communication features.

Magaya Cargo System gives you the ability to import your client database, as well as your accounting information
in an standard format so you can start working with Magaya Cargo System without having to interrupt your operations.

Does Magaya
Cargo System have an interface with AES of US Customs?
Yes, with
Magaya Cargo System you can send the SED
directly to U.S. Customs. Magaya Cargo System runs a validation
procedure before it sends the SED to U.S.
Customs so that the information you are sending
is correct and it also keeps your company's
local database synchronized with the AES
database.
