Magaya Cargo System 5.50

The following is a list of the new features in Magaya Cargo System PRO 5.50

  COMMUNICATION
  • In this release the whole communication framework was moved to XML. This means that data from Magaya Cargo System can be easily interfaced with other system. The communication should flow very smooth as we are using now standard HTTP for all connections.
  • We implemented a new technology that allows any user to enjoy the benefits of the Magaya Network without having to configure his firewall. You can give tracking to your customers right away. You don’t have to wait for you network administrator or internet provider to configure your firewall.
  • The coolest feature of this release is the new Magaya Network Community Interface that lets you search and contact other Magaya Network users among more than 500 companies in 35 different countries. For example, if you need and agent in Brazil you can search for the Magaya Network members in Brazil and contact the ones that better meet your requirements.
  • Another good feature for this release is what we called By Transaction Tracking. The system can be configured to send emails automatically when a new cargo transaction is entered (works for Warehouse Receipts, Pickup Orders, Bookings, Cargo Releases and Shipments). This email has a link that will get the transaction in real time from your database each time the client click on it. In that way he will always see the latest updates to the transaction and can track the status of the order in real time.
  • The user interface of the Magaya LiveTrack was updated to have a new modern look. The next time your clients login to do LiveTracking they will notice that you have been working in improving your system.
  • Optimization for picture transfer in tracking. Pictures and attachments are now downloaded on demand. This will improve the speed of tracking by 90% if you are using attachments.
  • Application Programming Interface. We took another big step towards integration and communication with other systems, new in this release Magaya Cargo System offers an API that will let your IT staff access the transactions inside our database using any high level programming language like VB, Java and C#. For example if you want to enter orders from your client automatically in the system this is the way to do it, connect to the API and pass the transactions in XML directly to Magaya Cargo System database.
