Enabling Communication between Magaya Logistics Software and Ocean Carriers

Here are the features that you will have access to as part of the integration:

• Booking Request & Confirmation
  • Once you have created your Trip Schedule in your system with the necessary equipment you can send a Booking Request to the ocean carrier.
  • After the carrier has received your Booking Request, you will receive a Booking Confirmation indicating the amount of each equipment type that has been reserved with the booking.
  
  
• Shipping Instructions & Acknowledgment
  • Once you have created an Ocean Shipment in your system, you can send the Shipping Instructions directly to the carrier avoiding unnecessary delays and improving document accuracy.
  • After the Shipping Instructions are received by the carrier, you will receive a message indicating if the Shipping Instructions were Accepted or Rejected.
  
  
• Track & Trace
  • For each container shipped you will receive automatic status events such as date of receipt, vessel loaded, departed and arrived indicating the location as well. These events will appear in the shipment events and will be available for your customers to see online in real-time using the Magaya LiveTrack or the Magaya Transaction Tracking.
  
  
• Bill of Lading in PDF format
  • After the carrier has processed the Shipping Instructions and created the Bill of Lading, you will receive the Bill of Lading Draft/Final in PDF format as an attachment to the shipment within your system.
  • You can request the carrier to modify the Bill of Lading, and the new Bill of Lading document will be retrieved again and displayed as an attachment until the final copy is received.
