Magaya
Supply Chain Solution covers the complete logistics process to deliver
the merchandise from Seller to Buyer. Magaya Supply Chain Solution includes all
the functionality from the Magaya
Commerce System, Magaya
Warehouse Management System. and
Magaya Cargo System. It covers both the sales process and the purchasing process.
The Sales process
The sales process starts with the Quote Enquiry from the customer, the user can create a
Quotation in the system and send it by email to the customer. Then if he accepts the prices,
the user can convert that quote into a
Sales Order and post a task in the shipping and
accounting departments to process the sale. The accounting department can convert that sales order
into an Invoice that goes to
Accounts Receivable in the integrated accounting system.
This is used later to collect
Payment from the customer. Meanwhile, the shipping department
can use the sales order to create the
shipping order that can be as simple as a local delivery
or as complex as an
International Shipment, in this case the integrated cargo system can
generate all required
International Trade Documentation which includes
Bill of Lading, Cargo Manifest and Air waybills.
In addition to all of these fantastic features, your customer can track the entire process online using the Magaya LiveTrack or Magaya Transaction Tracking.
The Purchasing process
The purchasing process starts by sending a
Purchase Order to
the provider or manufacturer of the merchandise. After the purchase order is approved, the purchasing department
can post a task to the shipping department to pick up the merchandise and to the Accounting Department to process the payment.
The shipping department will use the original purchase order to create a
Pickup Order to bring the merchandise to the warehouse. When the cargo arrives, the pickup order can be
used to create a
Warehouse Receipt to accept the merchandise into the
warehouse. At that moment the
accounting department can use the original purchase order to create a Bill that goes
directly to
Accounts Payable
and is later used to
Pay the provider.
