The Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association (FCBF) will be hosting the Conference of the Americas (COTA) on November 12-14, 2018 in Miami's Airport Convention Center. Magaya is a proud sponsor of this event. We will be presenting our new technologies for companies working in global trade in the exhibition area.
COTA allows for customs brokers, freight forwarders, importers, and other parties to come together and discuss the evolving policies that are critical in the global trade world. The Conference will include speakers and break-out sessions on best practices to move and clear goods.
Here are three sessions we recommend Magaya users attend:
FCBF Description: Logistics is only as successful as the information generated throughout the transportation process. From comparing routes and rates, gathering shipping information, collecting and generating necessary documentation, sharing data, tracking routes and scheduling delivery, these innovators discuss how their companies are disrupting the logistics industry.
When working in Logistics, companies need to figure out what works best for them and their customers. With this session, one of our own team members, will be discussing ways that Magayacan help keep everything in one place. From the accounting side of your company to giving customers access to tracking their packages.
FCBF Description: Due to the growth of internet purchases and shipments of small parcels containing freight of all kinds, warehouses and fulfillment operations are facing new challenges as well as opportunities to receive, store and deliver cargo. How can such facilities best adapt to the new commercial model and what systems can assure a seamless transition?
ECommerce is changing the Logistics world as we know it. More and more companies are now presenting their products online to reach a larger target audience and forwarders are adapting to this new commercial model.
FCBF Description: In recent years Government export control agencies have enhanced the licensing process through technological enhancements. As a result, exporters have embraced improvements to streamline their internal controls. How can companies ensure they are taking advantage of these developments while not forsaking fundamental compliance requirements?
With new technological enhancements, exporters have to make sure that they are still following requirements with the new developments. Learn how to take your company to the max without failing to comply with the requirements.
