Gary Nemmers
CEO and Board Member
A charismatic and visionary leader, Gary brings decades of software industry experience to his role at Magaya. Having most recently served as CEO and board member of IQMS Software, Gary previously held the role of COO at HighJump Software, Senior VP at Infor, and was the founder and CEO of DataTrend Information Systems, which provided ERP solutions to the JD Edward and PeopleSoft community. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Behavioral Psychology from Northwestern University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
Michael Pantilione
Board Member
Michael brings to Magaya his wealth of experience investing in and growing SaaS and technology companies. He has served as a Board Member at Magaya since early 2019. Having joined LLR Partners in 2007, where he is now a Principal, Michael also sits on the board of several technology companies. Michael holds a Bachelor of Economics with a Finance concentration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
David Reuter
Board Member
A senior private equity investment professional, David shares his extensive software industry experience, leadership, and business development capabilities with the Magaya team in his role as Board Member. David is also a Partner with LLR Partners, a private equity firm committed to creating long-term value by growing its portfolio companies including Magaya. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Lehigh University.
Mark Buman
Chief Revenue Officer
Mark brings more than 20 years of technology sales experience to his role as Chief Revenue Officer at Magaya. Prior to joining Magaya, Mark served as SVP of Sales for IQMS Software and held leadership roles at HighJump and Infor. Mark brings to Magaya his experience in growing highly-effective enterprise sales teams coupled with a deep understanding of the supply chain, plus technical expertise with business software. Mark is a graduate of The University of Utah.
Luis Guerra
Chief Financial Officer
With more than eight years of financial management experience in the Software as a Service industry, Luis leads the Finance & HR teams at Magaya. His leadership, strategic vision, and problem-solving abilities make Luis a great addition to the management team at Magaya, where he has served as CFO since 2015. Luis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance and an MBA in Finance from the College of Business at Florida International University.
Nomar Ramis
Chief Customer Officer
Nomar has been committed to customer success since he joined Magaya in 2011, serving as Operations Manager for several years before being promoted to Chief Customer Officer in 2019. Prior to his start at Magaya, Nomar held leadership roles in IT at several other companies, helping him understand the needs of our clients. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the College of Business at Florida International University.
Dave Evans
Board Member
Dave Evans is a Magaya Board Member and Partner of Apax Digital where he focuses on growth equity and buyout investments in high-growth internet, enterprise software, and technology-enabled services companies. He joined Apax in 2009 and is based in the New York office.
Dave has led or participated in a number of the Apax Funds’ digital deals including Accurate Background, ClassPass (Mindbody), Dealer.com, Guesty, Lever, MetaMetrics, TIVIT and Trader Corporation. In addition, Dave has held several interim operating positions across the Apax Funds’ portfolio, including roles at Trader Corporation, rue21 and FULLBEAUTY Brands. Prior to joining Apax, Dave was a member of the Financial Sponsors Group at Morgan Stanley.
Dave holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from Duke University.
Dave Eckley
Board Member
Dave is a Magaya Board Member and Operating Advisor in the Operational Excellence team at Apax. He joined Apax in 2018 and is currently based in the USA. His Apax experience includes being CEO of a portfolio company and assisting Moda Operandi, Tosca and Azelis on IT, Operations and Logistics projects.
Prior to joining Apax, Dave was CEO and co-founder of TradeGlobal, a large-scale eCommerce support services business for retail fashion and footwear brands providing eComm platform, digital marketing, enterprise systems, customer care, distribution and logistics globally.
Dave has a BS in Management Information Systems from Peru State College.
Martyn Verhaegen
Chief TechnOLOGY Officer
Prior to his role as Chief Technology Officer, Martyn Verhaegen was the Founder and CEO of Qwyk, the digital forwarder solution that was acquired by Magaya in 2021.
Before founding Qwyk, he served as lead for Corporate Account Technology at top global consolidator ECU Worldwide. Having joined ECU in 2007, Martyn operated in roles ranging from Operations to Systems and Technology to Sales. As a product owner, he was jointly responsible for the redesign and development of ECU’s internal and externally facing operational systems. Martyn possesses not only extensive technical expertise, but deep knowledge of the logistics and freight forwarding industries and the vision to evolve the Magaya Digital Freight Platform as the industry continues to shift.
Ed Rusch
Chief Marketing Officer
Ed brings 20 years of growth-oriented marketing leadership experience to Magaya, with a strong track record of success in private equity-backed software companies aiming to accelerate positive momentum in complex, global industries.
As CMO, he leads the company’s marketing organization, playing a key role in evolving its demand generation strategy, fueling-growth through customer-centric strategies, as well as enhancing brand and customer experience. Ed comes to Magaya from Sysdyne Technologies, a high-growth logistics and supply chain technology platform in heavy construction materials. Previously, he served in executive leadership roles at Blue Ridge Global, Command Alkon, and Elemica. Ed is a graduate of John Carroll University and three times named a “Pro to Know” by Supply and Demand Chain Executive magazine.
Miranda Groboske
Chief of Staff to the CEO
As Chief of Staff to the CEO, Miranda plays a pivotal role in managing strategic, cross-functional growth initiatives at Magaya and provides invaluable operational insights to the C-suite.
Specializing in project management, change management, process improvements, and fostering cross-collaboration and integrations, Miranda excels in navigating complex projects. A distinguished Certified Project Manager, Miranda’s 20 years of experience in high-growth software are an invaluable asset to the Magaya leadership team. Notably, her tenure at Dassault Systèmes / IQMS / DELMIAworks provided her with experience in managing a multi-million dollar strategic initiative portfolio, where she was instrumental in identifying risks and devising effective mitigation plans. Miranda holds an MBA from the University of Scranton, with an emphasis on Project and Change Management.
Roger DaGama
VP of Finance
As VP of Finance, Roger oversees the financial health and performance of Magaya, working closely with the leadership team, providing financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis on all aspects of the company’s accounting and finance activities.
Prior to joining Magaya, Roger quickly rose the ranks at fintech software company Aquila, where he held the role of Corporate Controller, leading financial operations for a portfolio of three business units and multiple product offerings. Roger holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
Eric Ingram
Chief Financial Officer
Eric brings more than 25 years of finance leadership experience in private equity-funded businesses and public accounting to Magaya. As CFO, he oversees the company’s financial operations, ensuring optimal fiscal strategy and reporting while aligning financial planning with Magaya’s ambitious revenue growth objectives.
Prior to joining Magaya, Eric served as Chief Financial Officer at Millennia, a provider of technology solutions to the healthcare industry, serving more than 1,000 facilities in 38 states, and Logitix, a leading ticketing platform for sports organizations, performing arts venues, and music events. In his role as CFO for the TractManager Group and its six operating companies, he guided the SaaS company through its successful acquisition by symplr in December 2020. He holds an MBA from the College of Business at Tennessee Tech University.
Ken Walters
Board Member
Prior to his time at Infor, Walters previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Internet Security Systems, Inc. and as a Managing Partner at Coopers & Lybrand. Since retiring in 2010, he has served as a board director and advisor to many successful SaaS software companies that serve high growth global markets.
Traci Osterberger
VP of Human Resources
As the Vice President of Human Resources at Magaya, Traci oversees all aspects of human resources strategy and operations worldwide, including shaping the company culture, attracting, developing, and retaining talent, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading employee engagement initiatives across all levels of the organization.
Traci joined Magaya in 2020 following its acquisition of Catapult, where she served as HR Manager since 2011, demonstrating a deep commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment across diverse global cultures. She is a SHRM Certified Professional with a Specialty Credential in People Management, reflecting her expertise and dedication to excellence in human resources management.
Dawn Russell
Chief Customer Officer
Before joining Blue Ridge, she served as Vice President of Customer Success and Development at Izenda, a developer of embedded analytics software with 3 million end-users and 2000+ application integrations worldwide. Dawn is a Six Sigma Black Belt certified professional.
