Quirch Foods Goes Live on Magaya Customs Compliance to Support New Foreign Trade Zone Operations

Sep 23, 2026 | Press Release

MIAMI, FL – September 23, 2026 – Magaya Corporation, the leading freight management platform for logistics service providers, today announced that Quirch Foods LLC, a leading importer and distributor of food products, is live on Magaya Customs Compliance. The solution supports Quirch’s new Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operation with electronic customs filings, FTZ inventory management, and built-in reporting in one platform.

As Quirch prepared to assume FTZ operator responsibilities, the company needed a solution that could support both regulatory filings and inventory control. Quirch selected Magaya Customs Compliance to manage electronic CBP Form 214 admissions, CBP Form 7512 in-bond filings, and the inventory management and reporting requirements associated with its FTZ operations.

The implementation timeline was closely tied to Quirch’s FTZ authorization and required approvals from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. While those external approvals were pending, the Magaya team worked with Quirch to configure the system, establish workflows, and train its users. This preparation allowed the company to move quickly into live transaction processing once authorization was received.

“Preparing to operate an FTZ involves many moving parts, and having the right support throughout the process made a real difference,” said Jaselyn Herrera, Senior Manager for Import/Export Compliance at Quirch Foods. “The Magaya team guided us through each stage and made sure we were prepared to begin processing live transactions once our approvals were in place. The experience has been wonderful, and we truly appreciate the knowledge, responsiveness, and support they provided.”

With Magaya Customs Compliance, Quirch can:

  • File electronic CBP Form 214 admissions for goods entering its FTZ
  • Complete CBP Form 7512 filings for in-bond cargo movements
  • Manage FTZ inventory and transaction activity within the same platform
  • Access built-in reports that support inventory control, oversight, and compliance
  • Reduce redundant data entry across FTZ admissions, in-bond movements, and related customs processes
  • Maintain direct visibility into filings and CBP response messages

“Quirch Foods approached this implementation with a clear vision for its FTZ operation and a strong commitment to preparing its team for success,” said Mark Buman, Chief Revenue Officer at Magaya. “By completing the configuration and training while the authorization process was underway, both teams were ready to move quickly once the required approvals were received. We’re proud to support Quirch with the technology and expertise to manage its FTZ operations with greater efficiency, visibility, and control.”

Now live on Magaya Customs Compliance, Quirch has a connected foundation for managing its FTZ filings and inventory requirements. The implementation brings critical workflows into one system while giving its team the tools and visibility needed to support compliant, efficient operations.
