Centauri Transport Selects Magaya Supply Chain Solution To Launch Operations
Miami, FL – May 7, 2020 – Magaya Corporation, the leading provider of end-to-end logistics and supply chain automation software, is proud to announce that Centauri Transport has selected Magaya Supply Chain and the Magaya Ecosystem of apps and extensions to support its new business strategy.
Centauri Transport is a new vessel-operating common carrier (VOCC), supported by a large private equity investor. After a year of research and development, Centauri began operations officially in January of 2020. Transportation of goods, ranging from household supplies, construction materials, vehicles, light electronics and perishable products, all received and handled on a consolidated basis, FCL, LCL, or loose parcels at the company’s ocean shipping terminal, located on the Miami River. With their first voyages to take place in June of 2020 aboard their new 190’ landing craft, they have implemented the Magaya platform to ensure that their operations run smoothly.

To provide exceptional customer service, Magaya LiveTrack has been implemented to put the power of self-service into the hands of Centauri Transport customers, making it easy for them to track and gain visibility into their cargo. In addition, to ensure customs compliance, Magaya Denied Party Screening and Magaya Automated Manifest System (AMS) have also been implemented.
